1. Choose the cup before finalising the artwork
Identify the construction, size, lining and lid requirements. Artwork must fit the actual cup layout, including its seam and curved surface. A design prepared for one cup format may need to be adapted for another.
2. Supply usable brand files
Send vector logos where available, editable artwork, colour references and any brand rules. Ask for the correct production template. Confirm text, spelling and required marks before approval; certification logos should only be used with the appropriate authorisation and scope.
3. Agree what the proof approves
A digital proof can show content and placement, but it cannot reproduce the feel of the board or guarantee physical colour matching. Discuss a printed or finished sample where required, and document the approved version clearly.
4. Break quantities down by item and design
List the quantity for each cup size and artwork version rather than a single combined total. CORNCOMP’s published custom-print reference starts at 50,000 units per item, with the applicable minimum confirmed for the selected product.
5. Separate production from arrival
The published production reference is approximately 30 days after order confirmation, subject to product and scheduling requirements. Artwork review, samples and freight may add time. Give your target arrival date and destination when requesting a quote.
6. Keep a record for reorders
Retain the approved artwork version, cup and lid references, material specification, packing details and relevant documents. If a material or design changes, review the effect on printing, performance and any environmental claims before reordering.
